About

TASTE MUSIC HEAR FOOD

Taste Music Hear Food Podcast Show was created and hosted by Chef Ed Porter this platform explores the powerful intersections of food, music, culture, creativity, and identity.
At its core, this show is built on one belief: what we consume shapes who we become. Food is more than what sits on a plate. Music is more than what comes through a speaker. Culture is more than trends, traditions, or taste. Together, they tell the story of how we live, create, remember, heal, celebrate, and connect.
Host: Ed Porter – celebrity chef, musician, filmmaker, entrepreneur, and storyteller – TMHF brings together chefs, artists, athletes, entrepreneurs, cultural leaders, tastemakers, and visionaries for conversations that go far beyond the surface.
Each episode dives into the moments, influences, lessons, and “cold truths” that shape a person’s journey. We talk about origin stories, creative process, legacy, identity, discipline, failure, reinvention, and the unseen ingredients behind success.

This is not just a food podcast.
This is not just a music podcast.
This is a conversation about culture – and the things we consume mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and creatively.

Through honest dialogue, thoughtful questions, and a lot a bit of flavor, TMHF invites listeners to experience the world differently: to taste the music, hear the food, and understand the culture that connects us all.

WELCOME TO THE TABLE.

WELCOME TO THE RHYTHM.

WELCOME TO THE CONVERSATION.

MISSION STATEMENT

TMHF exists to explore the connections between food, music, culture, and the human experience Through authentic conversations and diverse perspectives, we inspire people to think more deeply about the things they consume and how those influences shape identity, creativity. community, and purpose.

THE TMHF IDEOLOGY

The ideology of Taste Music Hear Food is rooted in the belief that food and music are not just things we enjoy — they are things we experience, inherit, interpret, and become.

To “taste music” is to recognize the flavor of a memory, the seasoning of a sound, the rhythm of a city, the soul of a song, and the way creativity can feed us without ever touching a plate.

To “hear food” is to understand that food has a voice. It tells stories of ancestry, migration, struggle, joy, community, love, loss, and legacy. Every dish carries a sound. Every table has a rhythm. Every culture has a flavor that speaks before a word is said.

At TMHF, food represents anything we consume. Music represents the vibration of life. Together, they become a lens for exploring identity, purpose, culture, creativity, and the human experience.

We do not just talk about food.
We do not just talk about music.
We explore the things that shape us.

Taste the Music. Hear the Food Understand the Culture.
